by Annette Weeks | Mar 14, 2019

You're rounding the corner to Q2, and, with any luck, spring. With the promise of warmer weather and sunshine, it's time to dust off your networking shoes and head out into the community to get inspired and get connected.

Here are just three events in the northwest Missouri region that you should definitely get on your March business and networking calendar.

March 20, 2019: North Missouri Business Expo, Trenton, Missouri

If you're interested in the future of rural communities, this is the event for you.

Rob Dixon, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development, is the keynote speaker for this jammed packed day of breakout sessions, Google presentation, roundtable session and more. Get this North Missouri Business Expo on your calendar and we'll see you at North Central Missouri College in Trenton.

March 25-29, 2019: Entrepreneurship Week, St. Joseph, Missouri

Heeeey . . . it’s Entrepreneurship Week. Head over to Missouri Western State University for a weeklong series of free workshops and events. The weeklong program is targeted toward local business professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, college students, high school students, and those curious about the skills needed to run a small business.

Business professors and other experts will offer small, personalized sessions at various times throughout the week. Sessions include How to Write a Business Plan, Accounting for Beginners and Advanced QuickBooks, Social Media Tools for Small Businesses, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and more. All of the sessions are open to the community and students. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is preferred.
